New Moon of 9 November 2026
Places for this event. See event details o places for the 2027 eclipse.
What matters most here is how dark the sky is, and we don't have a reliable point-by-point measurement yet. That is why we don't rank towns: a big city would score as well as a dark remote spot. Use the night lights layer to get away from light pollution.
In the meantime, open the map with the night lights layer to look for dark areas, or browse the Starlight-certified places and the observatories (555 in the catalogue).
